Teena Mitchell is the Special Needs Coordinator for Greenville County Schools in South Carolina. She supports a district of 400+ school buses. She has 20+ years of experience in school bus transportation and transporting students with disabilities. Her certifications include National Association of Pupil Transportation, NAPT Director (CDPT) & in Special Needs (CSNT), NHTSA Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma. Teena was featured in Schoolbus Fleet’s article “10 Phenomenal Women in Pupil Transportation” and received the NAPT Special Needs Award in 2017. She is currently the President of NAPT and serves on four committees with the National Congress of School Transportation, NCST for 2025.
